Thor: Ragnarok's Tessa Thompson Is Still Campaigning For An All-Female Marvel Movie
Assuming the Black Widow movie ends up being made, that means only three movies for the MCU's Phase Four have been announced so far, the other two being Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. That said, if we consider sequels that will likely happen (like Doctor Strange 2 and Black Panther 2), movies spotlighting brand-new characters (my fingers are still crossed for Nova) and both the X-Men and Fantastic Four potentially being incorporated into this franchise, this all-female movie will face a lot of competition for one of these Phase Four spots. That being said, the project (I would call it A-Force, like the heroine-filled comic book series published a couple years back) has the advantage of being something especially unique to the superhero movie genre, and if there's one thing that moviegoers love, it's novelty. So maybe that will boost its chances of being greenlit.
