A Series Of Unfortunate Events Season 2 Trailer Is Full Of Costumes, Chaos, And Nathan Fillion

A new trailer has arrived for Season 2 of A Series of Unfortunate Events, and despite the bright costumes, chaos, and the dashingly handsome Nathan Fillion, things look just as unfortunate as ever. This latest look at the series features the kids outwitting dodgy and dimwitted adults, running amok throughout a hospital, and Sunny utilizing a typewriter:
A Series of Unfortunate Events Season 2 certainly won't suffer from a lack of action, as the Baudelaire children look to be in peril in just about every scene shown. Those who've read the books knew that was going to be the case, and with this show following the novels as closely as possible, don't expect the series to deviate into many uncharted avenues. That means Season 2 will take the children to the Austere boarding school, an elevator, the Vile Village, a dangerous hospital, and an equally dangerous carnival. It also means Count Olaf is back, and he'll be just as feisty as ever in his attempt to get ahold of the Baudelaire children and their family fortune.
That means lots of amazing disguises that are as wildly different as they are bad at hiding who the Count really is. Of course, it seems like only the Baudelaire children ever really discover him right off the bat. That's not the best look for anybody trying to help the children this time around, as that string attached to the red beard is just painfully obvious:
Count Olaf isn't the only familiar face hiding behind a costume. The Season 2 trailer for A Series of Unfortunate Events was packed with some familiar faces fresh to the series that TV lovers might recognize. Arrested Development actor Tony Hale gets a short spotlight in addition to folks like Lucy Punch and Roger Bart just to name a few.
No cameo in the trailer was quite as noticeable as Nathan Fillion, as he burst through a door sporting a very stylish moustache. Fillion will play Jacques Snicket, the brother of the "author" of the series Lemony Snicket. Fans can expect to see Fillion and his sweet 'stache in the episode based on the book The Vile Village, although if his appearance is like it is in the books, expect his presence in A Series of Unfortunate Events to be as fleeting as his appearance in the trailer:
